I’m a multi-skilled Artist and Craftsperson. I live in the rural town of Taunton, surrounded by the flood plains and hills of the cider county - Somerset. I grew up here, but while studying I’ve lived in Cornwall and Plymouth - I love the sea and a good bit of fish and chips! 

I have also spent time living in India where I was lucky enough to travel to a number of destinations, exploring the sites as a tourist, celebrating religious festivals and even attending a wedding with locals who became friends. 

 

I like to draw upon life experiences, surroundings and emotions for inspiration. I am heavily influenced by the feminine form, fantasy, spirituality, nature and feminism. Also dear to my heart are puns - I love to illustrate whimsical characters to go alongside them.

I am continually developing my skills through evening classes, workshops and independent study from my studio at home. Illustrating is my main focus, however, I have a range of skills which is often expanding due to my keen curiosity for the arts and crafts industry - Please see my skills page (coming soon!) for a comprehensive list.

Art is my passion and I will happily spend all of my time being creative. I also enjoy cooking, watching films, yoga, walking and dogs as well as spending time with those nearest and dearest to me.
